Assistant Project Manager

Job Description & Requirements • Assist the Project Manager in planning and managing daily project activities. • Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure smooth project execution. • Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedule. • Assist in managing sewerage and civil engineering works , including sewer pipe laying, manhole construction, excavation, backfilling and reinstatement. • Review and understand construction drawings and assist in resolving site and technical issues. • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and quality. • Assist in coordinating manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors. • Assist in preparing project reports, site records, method statements and other project documents. • Ensure works comply with relevant safety, quality and project requirements. • Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants and relevant parties. • Assist the Project Manager in completing projects safely, on time and according to project requirements. Requirements • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore. • Relevant experience in civil engineering or construction projects is preferred. • Experience in sewerage, drainage or underground works will be an advantage. • Able to read and understand construction drawings. • Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Willing to work on construction sites. • Candidates with relevant experience in Singapore civil / sewerage projects will be preferred.
