Part-Time Café Assistant — J&C Bakery (WEST!)

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Café Assistant to help with customer service, drinks preparation and simple kitchen duties. Training starts: 3rd week of November 2026 Work schedule: Shift work, with a minimum commitment of 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day per week Responsibilities • Welcome customers, take orders, handle payments and serve food and drinks. • Prepare coffee, other drinks and waffles. • Assist with light baking and simple food preparation using standard recipes. • Replenish food displays, packaging and café supplies. • Clear tables, wash utensils and keep the café and kitchen clean. • Assist with opening and closing duties. • Follow food hygiene and safe handling practices. Requirements • Friendly, responsible and willing to learn. • Comfortable with customer service and simple kitchen tasks. • Able to work well in a team and during busy periods. • Café, coffee-making or baking experience is an advantage; training will be provided. • Able to commit to at least 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day each week. • Available to begin training on 3 November 2026.
