Café Manager — J&C Bakery (WEST)

We’re looking for a hands-on Café Manager to oversee daily café operations and support both front-of-house service and simple kitchen preparation. Training starts: 3rd week of November 2026 Work schedule: 5.5 days per week, no shift work Responsibilities • Manage daily café operations, including opening and closing. • Welcome customers, take orders, handle payments and serve food and drinks. • Prepare coffee, drinks and waffles, and carry out light baking using standard recipes. • Lead and train the café team, assign duties and maintain service standards. • Monitor stock, arrange replenishment and minimise wastage. • Handle customer enquiries and resolve service issues. • Keep the dining area, counter and kitchen clean and organised. • Ensure food hygiene and safe handling practices are followed. Requirements • Previous café or F&B experience, preferably in a supervisory role. • Comfortable working across customer service and simple kitchen duties. • Responsible, organised and able to guide a team. • Friendly, with good communication and customer service skills. • Coffee-making or basic baking experience is an advantage. • Available to begin training on 3 November 2026.
