Bid Assistant (6 Months Contract)

Responsibilities: • Compile tender submissions, proposals, presentations, and supporting sales documentation. • Coordinate and organize bid documents to ensure compliance with submission requirements. • Format, edit, and proofread documents for accuracy, grammar, spelling, consistency, and professional presentation. • Support the preparation of spreadsheets, and presentation materials using Microsoft Office applications. • Take meeting minutes. • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather information required for tender and proposal submissions. • Ensure all bid documents are properly maintained and filed for reference and audit purposes. Requirements: • Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred. • Experience in tender administration, proposal coordination, bid support, or a similar role will be an advantage. • Basic engineering knowledge will be an advantage • Well-organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Able to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines. • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a good team player. Technical Skills: • Microsoft Excel (Intermediate) - Use formulas and functions such as IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. - Perform basic data analysis and reporting. - Create and work with PivotTables and charts(preferred). • Microsoft Word (Intermediate) - Format and edit professional documents. - Align images, tables, and text effectively. - Review documents for grammar, spelling, formatting, and consistency.
