TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER

Company Description Elshin International is a Singapore-based authorised distributor specialising in industrial automation and motion control components. Since 1994, we have worked with leading global brands such as THK, Yamaha, Koganei, Sanyo Denki, Miki Pulley and SMAC, serving clients in the manufacturing, semiconductor and precision engineering sectors. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site sales role based in Singapore, with a 5 day work week. As our Technical Sales Engineer, you will sell linear motion and motion control components to machine builders, equipment makers and other industrial customers. You will spend most of your time out in the field, visiting existing customers and finding new ones across Singapore. You will read customer drawings to understand their needs, recommend the right products and help with troubleshooting when issues come up. You will also give product presentations to show customers how our solutions can work for them. Beyond selling, you will help with sales forecasting and inventory planning to make sure stock is ready when customers need it. If an item has a long lead time, you will source suitable alternatives from other brands and recommend them to customers, so their projects stay on track. Qualifications • Diploma or Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical or a related field • 2 to 3 years of experience in technical sales, ideally selling industrial or motion control products • Strong sales skills with a proven track record of finding new customers and closing deals • Must be able to read and understand technical drawings • Familiar with linear guides, ball screws, bearings, actuators or similar parts is a plus • Confident giving product presentations to customers • Able to do sales forecasting and inventory planning • Must own a car or motorbike with a valid driving licence, as the role involves travelling around Singapore • Friendly, outgoing and self motivated What We Offer • Salary: $4,200 to $4,900 per month (includes transport allowance) • Annual Wage Supplement • 5 day work week, 8:30am to 6pm • 10 to 14 days annual leave, 14 days medical leave • Full training on our products
