Restaurant Assistant Manager

• Job Description / Responsibilities • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations. • Supervise and coordinate the service team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. • Be hands-on and perform floor duties during service , including greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, clearing tables and attending to guest requests. • Maintain high standards of service, hospitality and guest satisfaction. • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and promptly. • Lead, train and guide service staff on service standards, product knowledge and SOPs. • Assist with staff scheduling, deployment and attendance matters. • Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational requirements to the team. • Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure efficient service. • Monitor restaurant supplies, equipment and inventory levels. • Assist with stock control, ordering and monthly inventory when required. • Ensure proper use of the POS system, cashiering procedures and daily closing. • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety and company policies. • Assist with opening and closing duties. • Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational and service objectives. • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
