Warehouse Assistant

Warehouse Assistant Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support our marine operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching marine equipment, spare parts, and materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming marine equipment, spare parts, and materials against purchase orders, delivery orders, and supporting documents. • Pick, pack, label, and prepare goods accurately for local delivery, vessel delivery, or customer collection. • Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of inventory to maintain product quality and prevent loss or damage. • Coordinate closely with Operations, Logistics, Purchasing, and Sales teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and operational requirements. • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company procedures. • Support urgent vessel requirements by preparing and arranging materials within tight timelines. • Perform other warehouse and logistics-related duties as assigned by Management. Requirements • Experience in the marine, shipping, offshore, or related industries will be an added advantage. • Knowledge of marine navigation equipment, marine spare parts, or vessel operations is highly desirable. • Physically fit and capable of handling manual warehouse activities. • Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset. • Able to work efficiently under pressure and respond to urgent operational requirements. • Possession of a valid forklift license is an added advantage.
