Intake Officer (Locum) (Yishun Family Service)

We are seeking a Locum Intake Officer to provide temporary coverage at Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society. The Intake Officer is the first point of contact for clients, responsible for screening, assessing needs, and ensuring timely support or referral. Key Responsibilities • Attend to walk-in, call-in, and referred clients • Conduct intake interviews to assess needs, risks, and suitability for services • Prioritise and respond to urgent or high-risk cases, including consultation with supervisors • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in SSNet • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for referrals and case follow-up • Conduct follow-ups with clientswithin required timelines Requirements • Diploma/Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field • Relevant experience in social service or frontline roles preferred • Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Additional Information • Locum / temporary position • Suitable for candidates who are adaptable and seeking flexible work opportunities
