General Manager — Sales & Commercial Operations (FMCG)(Supply Chain)(West)

Job Description & Requirements The General Manager is the most senior operational leader, responsible for leading the company’s transformation into Singapore’s leading omni-channel execution partner for multinational FMCG principals. Reporting to the CEO, the GM oversees the entire commercial and operational organisation — Sales, E-Commerce, Logistics, Retail Operations, and Trade Marketing — ensuring flawless execution across all channels. Strategy &Business Planning: • Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan integrating CEO vision and all principal joint business plans. • Lead annual and quarterly business planning with all principals. • Identify and secure new business opportunities — new principals, new channels, new geographies. Sales Performance& Revenue Growth • Own and deliver total revenue targets (GIV) across all principals and channels. • Drive in-store executional excellence: distribution reach, coverage, planogram compliance. • Lead top-to-top meetings with key retail and e-commerce customers. Distribution, Visibility & In-Store Excellence • Own overall distribution targets (numeric and weighted) across all principals and all channels. Ensure new product distribution is achieved within agreed timelines. • Set and enforce in-store visibility standards: shelf share, brand block, POSM placement, and planogram compliance across all retail touchpoints. • Drive display execution excellence — off-shelf displays, gondola ends, promotional displays —achieving company and principal display compliance targets. • Ensure 100% promotion execution hit-rate: all promotional mechanics (price-offs, bundles, sampling, value packs) deployed as planned within agreed windows. • Own pricing compliance —ensure correct shelf pricing per principal-deployed pricing grids. Monitor and correct pricing deviations across all channels. People Leadership& Capability • Build a stable, high-performing team across all functions. • Own capability building and training for the entire sales and logistics organisation. • Drive succession planning for all leadership roles. Champion automation and dashboards. Logistics &Service Delivery • Oversee logistics operations ensuring high fill rates, on-time delivery, and B2C fulfilment. New Business Development • Assist CEO in expanding the business — new principals, new channels, regional growth.
