WSH Coordinator

Responsibilities: • Implement and monitor Workplace Safety& Health (WSH) and Environmental Management Systems at construction sites. • Conduct daily site inspections, maintain safety records and ensure compliance with safety requirements. • Ensure subcontractors and site operations comply with the WSH Act, regulations and established safety procedures . • Review risk assessments and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures. • Report and investigate site incidents in collaboration with the WSH Officer. • Attend site EHS coordination meetings and assist in resolving safety and health issues. • Promote continuous improvement of site safety practices and programmes. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of WSH experience , including at least 2years in a construction site environment . • Safety Coordinator Certificate or Advanced Certificate in WSH . • Good knowledge of the WSH Act, subsidiary legislation and applicable legal requirements . • Familiar with Workplace Safety & Health Management Systems(WSHMS) . • Familiar with OHSAS 18001:2007, SS 506:2009 and ISO 14001 . • Good understanding of construction works across various trades.
