In-Process Control Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION: • The incumbent operates all equipment and facilities in assigned section safely and efficiently • Works closely with other members in a team and within the framework of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement • Blending of cake and operating the pulverizing system • Monitors and control of the process parameter to optimize the production output • Takes personal responsibility for quality in all aspects that will have impact on product quality such as: a. Collect cake and powder sample to check sieverest, PH, color, Fat results b. Collect cake sample from silo for micro check c. Do correction if the result fail • Carries out other related duties as assigned by supervisor such as: a. Bagging of by product b. GMP cleaning c. Perform metal detector check d. Updating ISO form • Inspects and maintain housekeeping of assigned area for clean and safe working conditions as well as ensuring that personal protection equipment, safety equipment are maintained and ready for use • Communicates clearly with supervisor and colleague at the end of the shift by highlighting the production status, output and any items bearing on safety, quality and efficiency Job Requirements: • Minimum GCE ’O’ or Diploma from Polytechnic or equivalent • Holder of Nitec with some experience in related field • Food production experience in a factory environment preferred • Familiar with GMP and safety procedures • Good troubleshooting skills • Basic awareness of industrial standards • Effective communication skills • Ability to work as a team • Attention to details • Ability to work with minimum supervision
