Business Development Manager (FMCG / Retail) | Regional Expansion | Up to $4,500

Salary: Up to $4,500/month Working Location: North-Central Singapore Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Industry: FMCG / Consumer Products / Household & Baby Care About the Role We are seeking a driven Business Development & Sales Manager to lead sales growth, retail expansion and regional business development for an established consumer brand. The role focuses on Singapore FMCG/retail channels , new business development , and regional distributor expansion across Southeast Asia , with additional opportunities in B2B and institutional channels . Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. • Identify and secure new customers, retail accounts and distribution channels . • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners . • Develop proposals, quotations, commercial plans and sales presentations. • Monitor sales performance, market trends and competitor activities . • Identify opportunities to increase product range, sales volume and market share . Retail & FMCG Channel Development • Manage and grow relationships with retailers, pharmacies, supermarkets, hypermarkets and specialty stores . • Develop plans for product launches, promotions, trade marketing and in-store activations . • Work closely with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely execution of promotions. • Drive account growth through cross-selling, upselling and new product introductions . Regional Business Development • Identify and evaluate regional distributors, importers and business partners across Southeast Asia. • Develop and maintain distributor relationships in Malaysia, Cambodia and other regional markets . • Negotiate commercial terms, distribution arrangements and business plans with regional partners. • Conduct market research and identify new opportunities for regional expansion . • Undertake regional business travel when required. B2B / Institutional Business Development • Identify opportunities within B2B, institutional and commercial hygiene channels. • Develop new accounts and partnerships beyond traditional retail channels. • Work with internal product and technical teams to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions. Project & Commercial Support • Coordinate multiple business development projects and follow up closely on implementation. • Work with marketing and operations teams on campaigns, product availability and customer fulfilment . • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and market updates . • Support other commercial initiatives and projects as required. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, FMCG or a related discipline preferred. • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management or Channel Development . • Proven experience in FMCG, consumer products, household products, personal care, baby care or related industries . • Strong understanding of the Singapore retail and FMCG landscape . • Experience working with retailers, pharmacies, supermarkets, distributors or channel partners . • Proven track record in new business development and revenue growth . • Experience in regional distributor management or Southeast Asia market development will be highly advantageous. • Strong commercial negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills. • Willing to travel regionally when required. Good to Have • Experience in household cleaning, hygiene, baby care or consumer healthcare products . • B2B / institutional sales experience. • Existing network of regional distributors or retail partners . • Exposure to trade marketing, digital marketing or e-commerce .
