Solution Architect (Enterprise Integration) Contract

Position Summary • The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and delivering robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. • The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of complex systems across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end technology solutions for enterprise projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT strategy. • Translate business needs into technical specifications, architectural blueprints, and integration designs. • Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, principles, and guidelines. • Oversee solution implementation, integration, and migration, providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. • Facilitate architecture review and approval processes, ensuring solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance standards. • Engage with cross-functional teams including application development, infrastructure, DevOps, and business units to drive architecture adoption and ensure solution feasibility. • Conduct technical evaluations and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools. • Prepare and deliver clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Support vendor evaluation, selection, and management to ensure alignment with architectural vision and organizational goals. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or related technical roles. • Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, enterprise-grade solutions (on-premises and cloud). • Strong understanding of application architecture, integration patterns, and data modeling. • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). • Proficient in designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders. Certifications (Preferred) • TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect, or other relevant certifications. Nice to Have • Familiarity with Network and Security Architecture. • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., MAS, PCIDSS, ISO 27001). • Exposure to data governance, data lake, or advanced analytics platforms. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). • Experience in the banking, finance, or highly regulated industries. • Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL processes.
