Fundraising Strategy and Revenue Development
• Support the Head, Partnerships and Engagement in achieving annual fundraising targets and contribute to the development and implementation of fundraising strategies across major donors, foundations, corporate and individual giving.
• Develop and manage assigned fundraising pipelines, from prospect identification and qualification through cultivation, solicitation, conversion and stewardship.
• Identify new fundraising opportunities and develop strategies to grow donor acquisition, retention, recurring giving and overall fundraising income.
Prospect and Donor Development
• Conduct prospect research and develop donor profiles, relationship maps and engagement strategies to identify and cultivate prospective donors and funders.
• Support the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major donors, HNWIs, foundations and corporate partners through tailored proposals, presentations, meetings and engagement activities.
• Develop compelling cases for support and donor communications in collaboration with programme, communications and leadership teams.
Grants & Institutional Giving
• Research, develop, write and submit high-quality grant applications aligned with funder priorities and organisational needs.
• Coordinate grant reporting, donor updates and stewardship requirements to maintain strong funder relationships.
Donor Engagement & Stewardship
• Oversee donor acknowledgement, appreciation, recognition and stewardship processes to strengthen donor relationships and retention.
• Plan and execute donor engagement activities, including donor receptions, dinners and other cultivation and recognition events.
Fundraising Campaigns & Communications
• Work with internal teams to develop fundraising campaigns, proposals, collateral, digital content and other donor-facing materials.
• Leverage CRM, website, social media and digital fundraising channels to maximize donor engagement and fundraising effectiveness.
Data, CRM & Performance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and prospect records and ensure effective use of the CRM system.
• Monitor fundraising KPIs including income, pipeline, acquisition, conversion, retention and average gift size, and provide regular analysis and recommendations for improvement.
• Maintain fundraising forecasts and pipeline reports to support management decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with programme, communications, finance and leadership teams to translate programme outcomes and organizational priorities into compelling fundraising propositions and donor communication.
Requirements:
• Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to the role of philanthropy in creating sustainable social impact, with sensitivity when engaging donors, beneficiaries and other stakeholders on mental health issues.
• Understanding of fundraising principles, donor cultivation, stewardship and the philanthropic landscape.
• Strong ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with donors, funders, corporate partners and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop prospects and move relationships through a structured engagement pipeline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor proposals, presentations and conversations to different donor audiences.
• Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to interpret fundraising data, identify trends and translate insights into action.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and digital fundraising platforms; experience with donor databases is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of agreed fundraising portfolios and deliverables.
