ASSISTANT COOK

Roles & Responsibilities • Assist Chef in preparing and handling ingredients including seafood, meat, and vegetables. • Assist in daily kitchen preparation work including cutting, portioning, and sauce preparation. • Support kitchen operations and food preparation during peak operating hours. • Assist in basic cooking, deep-frying, and simple wok preparation duties. • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations. • Ensure proper food handling and storage in accordance with food hygiene and safety standards. • Assist in receiving, checking, and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients. • Work closely with supervisors and kitchen team members to support daily operations. Requirements • Candidates with relevant kitchen or zi char experience will have an advantage. • Able to work in a fast-paced working environment. • Willing to learn and possess a positive working attitude. • Able to work well in a team with basic communication skills. • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
