Instrument Engineer |Chemical Plant | Jurong Island

Jobscope: •  Provide technical support for electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operations. • Support maintenance and production teams in troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing effective solutions. • Assist in planning and executing plant improvement, maintenance, and engineering projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to support project execution and maintenance activities. • Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of electrical and instrumentation systems through continuous improvement initiatives. • Stay updated on industry practices and new technologies, and apply suitable improvements where beneficial. • Support compliance with company safety, quality, environmental, and change management requirements. • Provide guidance and training to maintenance and operations personnel on equipment, systems, and process changes. • Participate in the plant's on-call rotation to provide technical support when required.
