Job Description for Contracts Manger position
Contracts Manager (Research Grants & Agreements)
Role Summary
IAIC is seeking a Contracts Manager to support the administration and governance of research grants and project agreements. The role involves reviewing grant terms and conditions, managing contractual and compliance requirements, supporting project administration, and driving process improvement and digitalisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and manage grant terms and conditions, funding agreements, collaboration agreements, NDAs, and other project-related contracts.
• Liaise with researchers, funding agencies, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders on contractual and administrative matters.
• Maintain accurate project and contract records and support reporting, analytics, and digitalisation initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance project administration and contract management processes.
• Assist the Confidential Compliance Manager (CCM) in the governance of Confidential Information (CI), including compliance monitoring, audits, and awareness programmes.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in contract management, grant administration, research management, contract management or project administration.
• Familiarity with research grant terms and conditions and project agreements is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with digitalisation initiatives, AI-enabled productivity tools, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar platforms will be advantageous.
