Python Engineer

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Python Engineer to design, develop and support Python-based automation solutions for enterprise and banking-related workflows. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing backend automation, APIs and system integrations supporting business processes such as Loans, KYC/AML, onboarding and compliance workflows . The role will also support custom integrations with Microsoft Copilot Studio and the broader Power Platform ecosystem . Key Responsibilities • Design, develop and maintain scalable Python-based applications and automation solutions. • Build workflow automation solutions supporting Loans, KYC/AML, onboarding and compliance processes. • Develop Python scripts, services and utilities to automate and streamline business operations. • Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services for integration between enterprise systems. • Integrate applications with databases, APIs, workflow platforms and third-party systems. • Develop custom Python services and backend integrations to support Microsoft Copilot Studio agents. • Support orchestration and custom integrations extending the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. • Participate in application testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning and deployment activities. • Identify and resolve technical issues across automation workflows and system integrations. • Optimize applications and automation processes for performance, reliability and scalability. • Work closely with business, technology and project stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions. • Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline. • Approximately 7–10 years of software development experience , with strong hands-on Python development experience. • Strong proficiency in Python programming . • Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI or Django . • Good experience developing and integrating REST APIs and web services . • Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL . • Experience integrating enterprise applications, databases and third-party systems. • Good understanding of workflow automation and backend process automation. • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices . • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills • Banking or financial services domain experience, particularly in Loans, KYC, AML, onboarding or compliance workflows . • Experience integrating solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio . • Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps or other cloud-native development services. • Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes . • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
