QC Engineer

• Prepares the project quality plans and inspection test plans according to project specifications • Prepares welding procedure specification and conduct welder qualification tests • Prepares quality control procedures and repairs procedures for welding • Conducts stage wise inspections like material/fit up/visual/bolt tightening/painting for fabrication and erection works • Review and witness the non-destructive testing like ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle testing • To ensure internal quality controls are in place and being maintained properly • Work closely with other project personnel such as production and site management team in order to deliver high quality works together • Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures delivered to the yard • Proper QA/QC documentation for all materials delivered to the factory, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instructions/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC document • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
