Assistant Teacher cum Malay Teacher

Job Description • Assist the Main Class Teacher in setting up learning spaces, preparing teaching materials, and conducting daily inquiry-based activities. • Conduct interactive Malay Language sessions through songs, storytelling, games, and cultural activities. • Provide routine care and supervision for children during mealtimes, shower/hygiene routines, naptime, and outdoor play. • Ensure the health, hygiene, and safety of children are strictly maintained according to ECDA regulations and school standards. • Supervise children during class transitions, specialist lessons, and outdoor activities. • Assist in documenting children’s learning and displaying their artwork and class projects. • Maintain classroom resources, learning materials, and equipment in a clean and organized condition. • Support school events, festive celebrations, parent-teacher meetings, and open houses. • Build positive, respectful relationships with children, colleagues, and parents. Job Requirements • Minimum qualification of L2 • Proficient in spoken and written Malay to conduct Mother Tongue lessons. • Good conversational English for daily communication with team members and parents. • Minimum 1 year of experience in an ECDA-registered preschool or childcare center. • Patient, nurturing, and passionate about early childhood education. • Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
