NETWORK ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities • Provide L2 support for LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN, and connectivity issues • Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and network security incidents • Handle escalations from NOC and escalate complex issues to L3 or vendors • Perform approved configuration changes on routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN devices • Support VLAN, routing, ACL, NAT, firewall policy, and VPN changes • Monitor network devices using tools such as NetGain • Respond to alerts related to availability, utilization, latency, packet loss, CPU, memory, and link status • Assist with SNMP, Syslog, and device onboarding into monitoring platforms • Support planned maintenance, migrations, cutovers, and post-change validation • Maintain network documentation, incident notes, change records, and handover documents • Experience & Qualifications • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field • 3–5 years of network engineering or network operations experience • Experience in managed services, NOC, or enterprise support environments preferred
