Purchaser(M&E)

Benefits: • 0–20% Performance-Based Bonus (PRP) per month • 2% Medical Allowance per month Job Responsibilities • Source, evaluate and purchase M&E materials, equipment and services in accordance with project requirements. • Obtain quotations from suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and payment terms. • Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials. • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams to ensure materials are delivered on schedule. • Follow up with suppliers on order status, deliveries and any discrepancies. • Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities. • Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis for management review. • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when required. • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management Job Requirements • Diploma, Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification. • Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in the construction or M&E industry. • Experience purchasing M&E materials is preferred. • Good knowledge of M&E products, suppliers and the local construction market. • Strong negotiation and communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with good organisational and problem-solving skills.
