Assistant Engineer / Engineer (FM)

Job Objectives • To provide assistance to Engineer in the area maintenance, repairs and installation and to assist • Document for the Engineer and for the client. Duties/ Functions/ Responsibilities • Undertake 24x7 operational health/ maintenance/ troubleshooting/ installation/ repairs according to Data Centre ‘best practice’ • Supervision and escort of term contractors to ensure that installation/ maintenance repairs adhere to their due diligence • Ensure that customer’s premises is tidy up and all equipments are operational before leaving the client’s premises • Follows and adhere to customer’s facilities’ rules and regulations • Observe operational health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements • Propose and recommend customer’s Data Centre improvement/ replacement of aged equipments • Maintain good relations with customers by providing technical/ facilities support • Involve in promoting team cohesiveness • Preparing & updating of Maintenance schedule to the customer and vendors • Promote and maintain company professional image in Data Centre maintenance & management. • Ensure the term vendor is on time for Maintenance. • To assist in vetting Vendor PTW, MOS & RA and submit to safety department and client for approval. • Prepare Monthly duty rooster for in house shift technician.
