Job Description & Requirements Role: Java Developer Mandatory Skill: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring WebFlux Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Build reactive, non-blocking, and high-performance applications using Spring WebFlux. • Design and develop scalable microservices using modern software engineering practices. • Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code. • Create and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services. • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other technology stakeholders. • Translate functional and technical requirements into effective software solutions. • Troubleshoot application issues, analyze root causes, and implement permanent fixes. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices. • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality. • Support application deployment, production releases, and post-deployment issue resolution. • Contribute to performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and security improvements. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation relating to application design, APIs, and operational procedures. Required Skills and Experience • 6–9 years of professional experience in Java application development. • Strong hands-on experience with Java, preferably Java 8 or above. • Strong experience developing applications using Spring Boot. • Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Spring WebFlux and reactive programming. • Strong experience designing and developing microservices-based applications. • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, service integration, and distributed systems. • Experience with reactive programming concepts such as Mono, Flux, backpressure, and non-blocking I/O. • Good understanding of application performance, scalability, exception handling, and resilience. • Experience writing unit and integration tests. • Familiarity with Git and standard software development practices. • Experience working in Agile development environments. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with Spring Cloud, API gateways, service discovery, circuit breakers, and distributed configuration. • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or JMS. • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. • Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra. • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. • Knowledge of observability tools, including centralized logging, application metrics, and distributed tracing. • Experience working in banking, financial services, payments, or other regulated enterprise environments. • Familiarity with secure coding practices and enterprise application security.
