Restaurant General Worker

Job Description & Responsibilities • Carry out general cleaning duties throughout the restaurant, including the dining area, kitchen, toilets, storerooms and common areas. • Sweep, mop and wash floors to maintain cleanliness and safety. • Clean tables, chairs, windows, doors and other restaurant fixtures. • Wash and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas when required. • Collect, separate and dispose of rubbish properly. • Replenish cleaning supplies and toilet amenities. • Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored. • Report any damaged equipment, safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor. • Follow the restaurant’s hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety procedures. • Assist with carrying, moving and properly storing items between, within, or delivered to the restaurant and office, including assorted parcels, suppliers’ stock, inventory and other supplies. • Perform other cleaning duties assigned by the supervisor or management. Job Requirements • No prior experience is required; training will be provided. • Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift and perform cleaning duties for extended periods. • Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. • Responsible, punctual and able to work independently. • Able to follow instructions and maintain a high standard of cleanliness. • Basic understanding of workplace hygiene and safety is preferred.
