Resident Technical Officer (RTO – Building Services M&E) Location: Tuas Employment Type: Full-Time Commencement: ASAP Job Responsibilities • Assist the Resident Engineer in daily site supervision and coordination of Building Services mechanical and electrical works. • Inspect and supervise contractors' works and testing in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. • Maintain quality records and monitor and report on work progress. • Carry out quality assurance inspections and testing of works. • Implement the project's quality assurance plan in a coordinated manner. • Coordinate with contractors on the execution and progress of works. • Supervise both mechanical and electrical aspects of Building Services works. • Monitor works relating to sanitary and plumbing, fire fighting, ACMV, electrical distribution, power generation, lighting, security systems, EVC, ISMS, ViMS, CCTV, FIDS, BACS, IBMS and other relevant systems. • Report site issues, defects and non-compliances to the Resident Engineer and relevant parties. Requirements • Registered as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) . • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections. • Relevant experience in large infrastructure, solid waste management or water infrastructure projects in Singapore is preferred. • Must be well-versed in Building Services mechanical and electrical works . • Good knowledge of site supervision, inspections, testing and quality assurance requirements. • Familiarity with BIM software will be an advantage. • Able to commence work as soon as possible .
