Senior Software Engineer

About the role We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative technology solutions within the engineering sector. Based in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region, this role offers the chance to work on complex projects that support civil and structural engineering applications. You will play a key strategic role in designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack solutions that drive operational excellence across our organization. What you'll be doing • Design and develop comprehensive full-stack applications, from front-end user interfaces to back-end server architecture • Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into robust software solutions • Architect scalable, maintainable code and establish best practices for development standards across projects • Conduct code reviews and provide mentoring to junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality and performance • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience • Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives • Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive system documentation • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes What we're looking for • Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js • Strong expertise in back-end development using languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or C#/.NET • Demonstrated experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL) • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerisation technologies such as Docker • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team environments • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Familiarity with engineering or construction industry software applications is advantageous • About us APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd is a dynamic human resources and recruitment organization serving the engineering and technology sectors.
