Remittance Manager

Job Responsibilities • Be responsible for the daily operation. • Perform day-to-day processing of payment transactions, such as SGX, CDP, correspondent banking remittances, inward and outward remittances, including: Payment verification Monitoring of Vostro accounts Checking accounting entries Processing SWIFT and MEPS+ messages Investigating enquiry cases Preparing statistical reports Data checking • Ensure all the above-mentioned activities are carried out accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with the prescribed standards and requirements. • Coordinate with other divisions/departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow, and promptly follow up on discrepancies. • Carry out tasks and assignments delegated by superiors. • Escalate irregularities and discrepancies to management promptly. • Adhere to the Bank's policies and guidelines governing: Reconciliation Correspondent banking accounts Treasury operation control functions • Handle unexpected circumstances arising from daily operations. • Undertake ad hoc assignments or duties to ensure there is no disruption to operational processes. Job Requirements • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related discipline. • Minimum 5 –8 years of relevant banking experience. • Proficient in SWIFT message types, including: pacs.008pacs.009 • Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin , with the ability to interact effectively with external vendors and stakeholders at different levels. • Able to work on a rotational shift basis, including Singapore public holidays and weekends , when required. • Analytical, self-motivated, and able to multitask. • Ability to work independently in a high-volume, time-sensitive, and high-risk environment while meeting tight deadlines.
