IT Project Manager (Application & System Projects)

Responsibilities • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and support system design, development, enhancement, and maintenance. • Work closely with solution, technical, and information architects to ensure applications are robust and aligned with enterprise architecture. • Design and deliver high-quality, functional solutions with a strong focus on user experience. • Plan, track, and manage application development, enhancements, and maintenance activities to ensure timely and quality delivery. • Coordinate and support system, user acceptance, and security testing prior to release. • Provide ongoing application support, working with product and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues. • Monitor application performance and service reliability, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve production issues. • Lead and manage development teams, including work planning, task allocation, progress tracking, technical guidance, and delivery oversight. Requirements • At least 7 years of relevant experience in application development, enhancement, maintenance, and project delivery across the full system development lifecycle. • Proven experience managing application development and maintenance projects with cross-functional product and technical teams. • Hands-on experience in Java application design, development, enhancement, and maintenance. • Knowledge of JavaScript and SQL is a plus. • Experience leading and managing software development teams, including work planning, task allocation, technical guidance, and delivery oversight. • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Product Management, or a related discipline. • Experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus. • Certifications in Project Management, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Business Analysis are a plus.
