Quantity Surveyor Manager (QS)

• $7,000 - $11,500 +AWS & Bonus • 5 days (9am - 6pm) | Location: Joo Koon (7mins walk from Joo Koon MRT) • A reputable Grade A1 main contractor with 33+ years of experience, specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects. • Attractive welfare benefits - Comprehensive Packages (e.g: additional leave, birthday leave, eldercare leave, Executive Health Screening, etc) • Opportunities for career improvement and skill development Responsibilities • Lead and oversee a team of Quantity Surveyors in procurement and contract administration activities. • Review contract documents and prepare cost estimates for tender submissions. • Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and cash flow forecasts, updating projections as required. • Administer contract progress claims, subcontractor payments and variation orders. • Evaluate and resolve contractual claims, including extensions of time (EOT) and additional cost claims. • Independently manage and deliver large-scale projects from inception to completion. • Maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and project documentation. • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely contract administration. • Formulate procurement strategies that align with project objectives, budgets, and timelines. • Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities in procurement processes • Evaluate and select suppliers based on capabilities and past performance • Negotiate contractual and commercial terms with suppliers and subcontractors while ensuring compliance.
