Specialist Technician, Maintenance

1. Provide advanced troubleshooting, diagnostic, and corrective maintenance support for Injection Molding Machines and auxiliary equipment to maximize machine uptime, production efficiency, and equipment reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: o Equipment malfunction, breakdowns, and recurring failures o Product quality defects and molding abnormalities o Process parameter deviations and optimization o Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo, and control-system issues 2. Configure, integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain COMO Injection and COMO Neo units, Auto Confirmation Systems, Injection Molding Machines, and MII Systems to support manufacturing control, process monitoring, production traceability, and equipment data requirements. 3. Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize machine communication and interface systems for Sumitomo and Fanuc Injection Molding Machines and peripheral/automation equipment, including: o Conveyors o MTC such as Kawata, Tool Temp, and Matsui o Material dryers such as Moretto and Matsui o MII and production monitoring systems o Mold protection devices such as Ushio and Himore o Robotic systems including Sailor, Star Seiki, Harmo, and Yushin o Other automated material handling and production equipment 4. Provide advanced technical support for Sailor servo robot controller systems, including fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, zero-position calibration, parameter adjustment and optimization, servo system verification, and performance validation to ensure accurate, stable, and reliable robot operation. 5. Provide specialized technical support for Sumitomo Injection Molding Machines, including ball screw replacement, SSIO controller card replacement, servo card replacement, zero-position calibration, machine setup, and post-repair verification to ensure precise machine operation, equipment reliability, and minimal production downtime. 6. Provide technical support for repalletizing machines, including machine setup and operation, parameter configuration, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, process optimization, and performance verification to ensure reliable operation and minimize unplanned downtime. 7. Monitor, evaluate, and analyze wear conditions of critical molding components, including screws, barrels, non-return valves, and tip sets, using dimensional measurement data and historical performance trends. Establish and implement appropriate inspection and replacement strategies to maintain molding process capability, product quality, and equipment performance. 8. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems on Sumitomo SG Injection Molding Machines, including hydraulic pumps, Moog valves, cylinders, piping systems, hydraulic circuits, oil seals, and associated components. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure hydraulic system reliability and compliance with maintenance schedules. 9. Provide technical support for Auto Sorting Machines, including equipment setup, parameter configuration, troubleshooting, process optimization, preventive maintenance, and efficiency improvement to ensure stable and reliable automated sorting operations. 10. Support the installation, commissioning, validation, and equipment buy-off of new production machinery, Injection Molding Machines, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment. Work with equipment suppliers, engineering, production, and other relevant teams to ensure successful equipment integration and operational readiness. 11. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards, machine operating procedures and EHS requirements. 12. Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, machine history documentation, and improvement proposals to support decision-making. 13. Perform other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor to support business and operational objectives.
