WE ARE HIRING: SENIOR HR EXECUTIVE
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior HR Executive to manage daily HR operations, strengthen people practices, and support employee development. You should be confident handling recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration with professionalism and discretion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job advertisements, candidate screening, interviews, employment offers, and onboarding.
- Work with department heads to identify manpower needs and track recruitment progress.
- Maintain accurate job descriptions and coordinate probation reviews and confirmation.
2. HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain employee records, employment contracts, HR systems, organisation charts, and staff directories.
- Monitor attendance, leave, punctuality, and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Coordinate employee movements, contract renewals, resignations, clearance, and exit interviews.
- Prepare HR reports covering recruitment, attendance, turnover, and other key workforce indicators.
3. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits
- Prepare and verify payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and salary adjustments.
- Coordinate payroll processing and statutory contributions with the relevant personnel.
- Administer employee benefits and support salary benchmarking and remuneration reviews.
4. Employee Relations & Discipline
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and workplace grievances.
- Handle employee relations matters fairly, confidentially, and professionally.
- Conduct fact-finding and prepare documentation for disciplinary matters in coordination with the HR lead and management.
- Guide supervisors on communication, conduct, and consistent application of HR policies.
5. Performance Management & Employee Development
- Coordinate KPI setting, probation assessments, performance reviews, and follow-up actions with department heads.
- Support managers in documenting performance concerns and implementing improvement plans.
- Identify training needs, coordinate internal and external training, and maintain training records.
- Support employee engagement, career development, and retention initiatives.
6. HR Policies & Compliance
- Review and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content for management approval.
- Support compliance with applicable Malaysian employment legislation and statutory requirements.
- Ensure HR policies are communicated clearly and applied consistently.
- Support HR audits and improve processes to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Undertake other HR-related duties assigned by the HR lead or management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Practical knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation, employee relations, and disciplinary procedures.
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, HR administration, and performance management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and HR systems.
- Experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, wellness, or a service-based organisation is an advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgement, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to prioritise multiple responsibilities and work independently.
- Confidence in guiding supervisors and addressing sensitive employee matters.
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
