Quantity Surveyor (Aluminium Product)

Core Responsibilities: • Cost Estimation & Tendering: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) specifically for aluminium, glazing, and facade works. This includes analyzing architectural shop drawings for material take-offs. • Procurement & Sourcing: Source and compare quotations for aluminium profiles, glass, and accessories from various suppliers and fabricators. • Contract Administration: Draft and evaluate subcontractor and supplier agreements to ensure they meet project specifications and legal requirements. • Cost Control & Variations: Monitor project expenses throughout the fabrication and installation lifecycle. This involves tracking variation orders (VO) and managing any changes in project scope or material prices. • Claims & Final Accounts: Prepare progress claims, value work completed on-site, and manage the final account settlement with main contractors or clients. • Inter-departmental Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers, designers, and production teams to align costings with shop drawings and site realities.
