• Sustaining, monitoring, and optimising ion implantation processes to ensure process stability, product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and consistent wafer-test performance.
• Performing tool matching, process qualification, recipe development, and parameter optimisation, including implantation dose, energy, and angle.
• Providing technical support for manufacturing operations, including the systematic investigation and resolution of process deviations, equipment alarms, production stoppages, chamber recovery, lot disposition, QMP disposition, and other line-sustaining matters.
• Monitoring and improving process-control and automation systems, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Advanced Process Control (APC), eRecipe, Camline , Equipment Automation Framework (EAF), and ANKA/ANKO applications.
• Providing specialised engineering support for silicon and silicon-carbide ion implantation equipment, including front-side, back-side, hot-implantation, high-current, high-energy, very-high-energy, ultra-high-energy, proton implantation, and laser thermal annealing systems.
• Planning and executing process and productivity improvement projects in accordance with established company methodologies, including GARFIELD, FMEA, Q-Checklist, and NICA.
• Monitoring operational-excellence and capacity parameters, including lot time, item time, wafer tact, speed loss and gain, planned load limits, planned uptime, EMDI, and EBM, using systems such as TAPIR, Plansim, GUI, and Tableau.
• Collaborating with Process Integration, Product and Test Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Failure Analysis, and other relevant functions to resolve technical issues, improve manufacturing capability, and prevent production bottlenecks.
• Providing technical guidance, structured knowledge transfer, coaching, and on-the-job training to Infineon engineers, technicians, and associate engineers in relation to ion implantation processes, manufacturing support, process-control systems, equipment operation, data analysis, and systematic problem-solving.
