Junior Chef

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Junior Chef to support daily kitchen operations, food preparation and service. The successful candidate will work closely with the kitchen team to maintain food quality, consistency, hygiene and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients and mise en place according to recipes and kitchen requirements. - Assist in cooking, food preparation, plating and presentation. - Support operations across various kitchen stations as required. - Ensure ingredients, utensils and equipment are properly prepared before service. - Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards at all times. - Assist with receiving, storing, stock rotation and inventory of food supplies. - Follow standard recipes, portion control and presentation guidelines. - Minimise food wastage and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients. - Work closely with chefs and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations. - Support catering, events and other food preparation activities when required. Requirements: - Certificate / Diploma / Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) in Culinary Arts, Food Preparation & Production Services or a related field. - Relevant hands-on experience in kitchen, culinary, catering or food production operations is preferred. - Fresh graduates with relevant culinary training are encouraged to apply. - Basic knowledge of food preparation, mise en place, kitchen hygiene and food safety. - Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Responsible, willing to learn and able to follow instructions. - Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
