SENIOR MOLD DESIGNER

Primary Duties: - * Leading mold design projects from concept to production * Creating and reviewing 3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings * Developing specifications and checklists for mold components and assemblies * Collaborating with product development teams to align mold design with customer requirements * Ensuring smooth transition from design to testing and production trial runs * Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner * Improving design processes for efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness * Maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing regulations Qualifications : * A diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tooling, or related discipline * Minimum 2 years of experience in mold design and manufacturing * Advanced proficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX CAD, SolidWorks, ZW3D, or similar programs * Strong knowledge of mold design principles, tooling processes, and manufacturing methods * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines * Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in mold design Job details • Education: Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5 • Contract: Permanent • Working hours: Normal Hour • Openings: 1 • Sector: Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment • Closes: 2026-11-07 About YONG HENG ENGINEERING WORKS SDN BHD (10-50 employees) Incorporated in 1986, YONG HENG ENGINEERING WORKS SDN.BHD.
