 Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations Engineering Senior Manager located in Prai, Penang . What a typical day looks like: • Participates in the review of customer contracts and engineering designs by outlining requirements and considerations. • Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data. • Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives. • Directs the activities of engineers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area. • Interacts regularly with executives, customers and outside regulatory agencies. • Drives engineering strategies to deliver customer requirements and recommend Flex capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services. • Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred • Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, including broad based management and supervision. • Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. • Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
