A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Buyer at MKS, you will partner with cross functional teams to the continuous flow of materials/services in order to meet production/site requirements, with right cost, quality, quantity and at the right time from the right source, following the internal procedures of the company. In this role, you will report to the Procurement Manager. You Will Make an Impact By: • PO creation and management / Process optimization. • Drives negotiation for prices and Payment Terms conditions and propose cost saving actions and projects aligned with company targets. • Manages and drives vendor list in alignment with Global Category Management strategy by evaluating supplier's performance and providing support for supplier audit. • Maintain supplier status in ERP systems (price, payment terms, Incoterms, address, contact email etc.). • Travel to suppliers and other MKS facilities when needed. Skills You Bring: • A Bachelor's degree in business/economics or supply chain with knowledge of material management or inventory planning. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/Planning. • A demonstrated background and proven experience with purchasing and supply chain tools. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • Proficient in the use of ERP/MRP Systems, SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Office. • Advanced level ability in the use of Excel & Power Point. • A willingness and ability to influence and change the status quo. #LI-DNI Globally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
