Key responsibilities:
As a Digital Tax (Infrastructure) Intern , your responsibilities will include:
• Assist with internal stakeholders and project teams to understand business needs and translate data into actionable insights through analytics and visualisation.
• Apply statistical analysis, predictive modelling, data mining and other analytical techniques to collect, explore and derive insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Analyse data from multiple sources to identify opportunities for new Digital Tax solutions and drive process improvement, automation and operational efficiency.
• Assist in develop, test, deploy and maintain predictive and applications to support defined business outcomes, assess risk and enhance user experiences.
• Apply data, analytics and models to inform risk mitigation strategies and practical interventions while preserving and improving the end-user experience.
• Support the end-to-end delivery of Digital Tax projects by clarifying requirements, defining analytical or research approaches, coordinating activities and communicating outcomes to stakeholders.
• Stay current with developments in tax technology, data analytics, artificial intelligence and relevant business and industry trends, and assess their potential application to PwC’s Digital Tax services.
What we're looking for:
W e welcome curious, technically minded students who are excited to build the future of tax with data and technology.
• Students in bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with web development concepts, preferably with some exposure to SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Python, .NET (preferred), C# and Java.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ideally able to commit for one year
