Key responsibilities:
As a Digital Tax (Go-to-Market) Intern, your responsibilities will include:
• Turn data into meaningful insights. Support internal stakeholders and clients in understanding the value of their data through analytics, visualisation, and clear communication of findings.
• Assist test prototypes. Assist in designing prototypes to address a range of business challenges, gather stakeholder feedback, and support the development of promising ideas into practical solutions.
• Apply data science techniques. Use predictive modelling, statistical analysis, data mining, and other analytical techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from data.
• Explore opportunities for improvement. Analyse data from multiple sources to identify patterns and support new product offerings, process optimisation, and improvements to business strategies.
• Build and maintain AI models. Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of predictive and large language models to support targeted business outcomes, assess risk, and improve user experiences.
• Support data-driven risk solutions. Help use data and predictive models to develop risk mitigation strategies and client interventions while considering the overall user experience.
• Contribute to project delivery. Support projects from planning through delivery by clarifying requirements, researching possible approaches, documenting findings, and coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
• Support go-to-market initiatives. Assist in researching market opportunities, preparing proposals and presentation materials, and supporting client discussions and engagements.
• Stay curious and informed. Keep up to date with emerging AI technologies and relevant business and industry trends, and share useful insights and ideas with the team.
What we're looking for:
We welcome curious, technically minded students who are excited to build the future of tax.
• Pursuing a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
• Python , SQL, Data Visualisation, machine learning, deep learning, LLMs , data mining, algorithms, optimisations, ML libraries (Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain , LlamaIndex ), MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React , Node.js ) with experience using common data science and AI libraries.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), open-source frameworks, big data, machine learning, and numerical programming frameworks.
• Experience with building web app l ications , integrating APIs, SDLC (DevOps, Agile)
• Knowledge of UI/UX and prototype design , containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and MLOps tools, Microsoft applications (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Copilot), building environments on cloud (Azure/Fabric, AWS, GCP)
• A solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis concepts.
• A growth mindset and a passion for AI, data science, and problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical ideas to a non-technical audience.
• Collaborative and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative and contribute fresh ideas.
• Curious and adaptable, with a desire to keep learning in a fast-moving field.
• Ideally able to commit for one year
