Project Delivery Lead

Chemin builds the data pipelines, evaluation systems, and reinforcement learning workflows that power next-generation AI systems. We’re looking for a Project Delivery Lead to take our fast-growing Delivery organisation to the next level. Working closely with our Head of Delivery, you’ll lead across three key functions: Project Delivery, Talent & Partnerships, and Ops & Automation. At the heart of how we deliver for our AI and ML clients, you’ll lead a team of Project Managers and Associates, oversee complex projects involving millions of data points, and bring structure, clarity, and momentum to every stage—from day-to-day execution to strategic account management. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for someone ready to scale projects from proof of concept (POC) to high-volume data pipelines, shape how our Delivery organisation operates, and grow into broader Delivery leadership as Chemin evolves. Why does this role matter? Chemin is scaling rapidly from handling a few thousand data rows to millions. This role ensures we don’t just scale fast, but scale with precision, quality, and trust. You’ll be building the playbooks, culture, and delivery engine that powers the next generation of AI models. You won’t just be running projects, you’ll be building the future of work in AI. Key Responsibilities • Lead and Manage a team of Project Managers and Project Associates, providing hands-on guidance, coaching, and escalation support • Ensure Project Excellence, set up, manage, and monitor delivery pipelines across multiple data annotation projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction • Collaborate Across Teams, work closely across Project Delivery, Talent & Partnership, and Ops & Automation to ensure seamless coordination and proactive issue resolution • Client Management, serve as the escalation point for delivery issues; manage expectations and build trust with both local and international clients • Operationalize Strategy, translate business and client needs into repeatable delivery processes and playbooks • Drive Reporting & Visibility, own weekly progress reviews, internal dashboards, and delivery tracking for strategic accounts • Mentor and Grow Talent, actively coach PMs and Associates to build strong delivery habits, clear communication, and ownership • Implement Process Improvements, identify inefficiencies in workflows and push changes that improve delivery speed and accuracy • 8 to 10 years of project management experience, with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience leading a team • Proven ability to manage multiple high-complexity projects in fast-moving environments • Strong client-facing experience, able to build credibility and trust across diverse stakeholders • Excellent communication, planning, and escalation skills • Experience in data-related projects, tech services, or operations is a strong plus • Comfortable leveraging technology, AI, automation, dashboards, and productivity tools to improve how teams operate, make decisions, and deliver at scale. Experience with tools such as n8n, Manus AI, Workflow86, or similar automation platforms is a plus. • Bias for action, clarity, and problem-solving • Bonus: Experience in data labelling, AI/ML project delivery, or BPO-style operations Why Chemin? Why now? Chemin is at an exciting point in its journey. We have proven that we can deliver complex AI and ML data work at scale, and we're now building the systems, teams, and capabilities to take that to the next level. That creates a different kind of opportunity for a senior leader. You won't be stepping into a finished organisation with every process and playbook already written. You'll have the opportunity to help shape how Delivery evolves as our clients, projects, technology, and ambitions become increasingly complex. You'll work closely with the Head of Delivery and the wider leadership team, with visibility into the challenges and opportunities shaping the business. Your decisions will have a direct impact on how we build teams, serve clients, scale operations, and prepare Chemin for what comes next. For someone who enjoys building rather than simply maintaining, this is a chance to have a meaningful influence on the future of a growing AI business. What makes Chemin different: • A meaningful role in the AI ecosystem, our work supports the data, evaluation and reinforcement learning workflows behind next-generation AI systems. • The opportunity to build, we're growing quickly, which means there is genuine scope to challenge existing approaches and create better ways of working. • Broad leadership exposure, this role sits across Project Delivery, Talent & Partnership, and Ops & Automation, giving you influence beyond traditional project management. • Real ownership, you'll be trusted to solve difficult problems, make decisions and take ideas from concept through to execution. • A company with room to grow, Chemin combines the agility and ambition of a growing AI business with the backing and global reach of the wider TDCX Group. • A role that can grow with you, as Chemin grows, so will the scale and complexity of Delivery, creating opportunities for leaders who consistently demonstrate impact to take on broader responsibilities. We’re still small enough that your work truly matters and growing fast enough that you’ll never stop learning. You’ll experience a flexible work environment designed to help you thrive: • A dedicated office at Plaza Sentral, conveniently located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with easy access to KL Sentral and public transport • A hybrid setup with two in-office days each week and adaptable core work hours If you're excited by the opportunity to build what comes next, we'd love to hear from you
