Quality & Training Manager

• Lead the organisation’s quality, governance, risk and training functions across all service lines. • Develop, review and maintain policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards to ensure they remain current and effective. • Maintain the organisational risk register, monitor mitigation measures and escalate significant risks to senior management. • Plan and conduct internal audits, as well as coordinate external and funder audits, ensuring follow-up actions are completed within agreed timelines. • Investigate service quality issues, identify root causes and translate findings into improvements in processes, controls and service delivery. • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on quality, compliance, audit and risk matters. • Develop and oversee onboarding, mandatory, refresher and role-specific training programmes for staff and volunteers. • Maintain a structured training curriculum and accurate training records to support competency and reporting requirements. • Evaluate training effectiveness through competency assessments, observation and feedback, and continuously improve training content. • Work closely with department heads to identify capability gaps and develop targeted training interventions. • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, continuous learning and service excellence across the organisation.
