Senior Quality Engineer (Lab Metallurgy, Aerospace)

We are representing our client in the Aerospace industry to hire for a (Senior) Quality Engineer with experience in Lab Metallurgy. Responsibilities • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace quality requirements. • Develop and maintain quality procedures, standards, and documentation. • Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. • Support customer, supplier, and internal quality activities and audits. • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Operations to resolve quality issues. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain AS9100/ISO9001 compliance. Requirements • Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of Quality Engineering experience in aerospace, precision manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries. • Hands-on metallurgical laboratory experience, including material evaluation, metallurgical analysis, and failure investigations. • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis, and CAPA. • Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems. • Experience conducting internal, supplier, or process audits. • Exposure to aerospace special processes such as Heat Treatment, Plasma Coating, and NDT. • NADCAP audit knowledge or experience
