Lecturer, Life Science/ Computer Science/ Business(1 Year Contract) #HJH

Key Responsibilities • Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, laboratory/studio sessions and other assigned classes. • Take on Programme/Module Leader responsibilities where assigned. • Develop and enhance curriculum, teaching materials and online/blended learning resources. • Set, mark and moderate coursework and examinations in line with module and course requirements. • Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate final-year projects, dissertations and research work. • Monitor student engagement, academic progress and performance, providing appropriate learning support and early intervention. • Conduct student consultations, focus groups and feedback sessions. • Support academic quality assurance, university audits, programme reviews and accreditation activities. • Participate in research, scholarly and professional activities in line with institutional requirements. • Collaborate with academic and programme teams on curriculum development, student recruitment, retention and programme enhancement. • Participate in school events, marketing activities and other academic/administrative projects as required. Requirements • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline; PhD is an advantage. • Strong knowledge of curriculum development, assessment and student engagement. • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. • Passionate about teaching, student development and continuous academic improvement.
