Job Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain accurate architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other relevant BIM software.
• Prepare detailed architectural models based on approved design drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Develop architectural floor plans elevations, sections, details and other BIM-related drawings from the model.
• Coordinate architectural models with Civil & Structural, M&E and other specialist models.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash detection to identify conflicts between architectural and other disciplines.
• Assist the BIM Coordinator and BIM Manager in resolving design and modelling issues.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings and technical information to ensure accurate BIM modelling.
• Update BIM models based on approved design changes, RFIs, technical submissions and site instructions.
• Prepare architectural coordination and shop drawings for construction purposes.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM standards, modelling requirements, naming conventions and Level of Development (LOD).
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and assist in following up on outstanding clashes and coordination issues.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and other BIM personnel.
• Assist in reviewing architectural interfaces with structural, M&E and specialist works.
• Support the preparation of construction drawings and documentation from BIM models.
• Assist in identifying constructability and coordination issues through BIM modelling.
• Maintain proper model revisions and ensure drawings are updated following approved design changes.
• Assist in preparing quantity schedules and extracting information from BIM models where required.
• Update architectural BIM models based on actual site conditions and approved records.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built BIM models for project completion and handover.
• Maintain proper records of BIM submissions, model revisions and coordination information.
• Perform other BIM modelling and coordination duties assigned by the BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator.
Job Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, BIM, Building, Construction or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant architectural BIM modelling experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required.
• Experience in large-scale building projects is preferred.
• Experience in hospital, healthcare, institutional or complex building projects will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of architectural BIM modelling and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and architectural drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and construction details.
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate models and drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
