Engineering Draftsman

[Job ID: 1679875] Job Responsibilities • Prepare outline and detailed engineering drawings for new-build projects and retrofit orders according to customer, project, and regulatory requirements. • Develop preliminary, single-line, termination, and arrangement drawings based on project scope and engineering specifications. • Prepare and coordinate engineering and vendor documentation for submission to customers and relevant authorities or classification societies for review. • Monitor engineering deliverables, schedules, and project progress , while identifying and highlighting potential risks or issues that may affect timely completion. • Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation , support work-progress reporting, and comply with applicable quality, safety, statutory, and environmental requirements. Job Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering , or a related discipline. • Proficiency in CAD drafting software and the ability to produce accurate technical and engineering drawings. • Basic understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and relevant technical documentation . • Good organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage documentation and monitor multiple engineering deliverables. • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and relevant authorities.
