Purchasing Assistant (Electronics MFG/East Area)

• Source and evaluate suppliers and stocklists based on cost, quality, delivery, and supply reliability. • Assess supplier products to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and delivery requirements. • Review quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery terms to secure favorable purchasing conditions. • Coordinate purchasing activities with customer forecasts, inventory, production schedules, purchase requisitions, and orders. • Monitor material quality, availability, and delivery, follow-up on purchase orders, and update internal stakeholders. • Manage strategic and high-value purchases with significant impact on cost and operations. • Source alternative suppliers or stocklists when existing supply is unavailable. • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient material availability. • Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, delivery, and flexibility requirements. • Liaise with customers on the handling of obsolete parts. Requirements: • Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. • Relevant purchasing experience in the electronics industry, preferably with electronic components. 5 days work week East Area Electronics Manufacturing Ind.
