Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Prepare, coordinate and submit project documentation and reports throughout the project lifecycle, from commencement to completion, including risk assessments, requisitions, schedules, drawings and progress reports. • Assist in planning and coordinating materials, equipment and manpower resources in accordance with project specifications and requirements. • Monitor project resources, budget and costs to support effective cost control. • Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, building owners, consultants and other project stakeholders on project-related matters. • Supervise technicians and site workers to ensure work is carried out according to project requirements and schedules. • Prepare and submit project drawings in accordance with project specifications and requirements. • Maintain proper filing and organisation of project documentation, drawings and reports. • Prepare project activity updates, progress reports and schedules. • Assist in preparing quotations and proposals, and recommend suitable works or solutions to customers where appropriate. • Support effective resource planning and monitor productivity to ensure efficient project execution. • Assist with tender and quotation preparation and participate in site surveys when required. Key Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the M&E, engineering or related industry. • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Strong planning, organisation, coordination and follow-up skills. • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. • Experience with AutoCAD is an advantage.
