Site/Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Interpret technical designs and drawings; provide technical advice and resolve site issues • Ensure site operations comply with the Project Quality Plan (quality, environmental, and safety requirements) • Review project specifications, clarifications, and construction drawings • Coordinate with QAQC Engineer to ensure work quality meets customer requirements; maintain inspection records • Prepare site reports and updates for stakeholders • Liaise with Consultant Representative, Project Manager, and Subcontractors on project and quality matters • Track contract variations and claims, and report cost impact to the Project Manager • Check working drawings and resolve discrepancies • Implement cost control measures to meet project budget • Support environmental management (EMS) matters • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, M&E consultants, and vendors to resolve construction/installation issues • Capture lessons learned and implement best practices for future projects • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Building Engineering , Architecture, Construction Management, or related field • 3–5 years' experience in building and construction projects • Good with numbers; strong attention to detail • Strong presentation and communication skills • Able to remain composed under pressure and meet deadlines • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling as required on site
