Project Control Manager (Construction)

As the Project Control Manager (PCM) , you will work closely with the Project Manager to establish and manage effective project control systems, including planning, scheduling, progress measurement, cost monitoring, and reporting. You will play a critical role in ensuring the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality, contractual, and technical standards . Job Responsibilities • Lead and oversee project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, and performance reporting throughout the project lifecycle. • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment across design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities. • Monitor project performance against approved schedules, budgets, and milestones, identifying potential delays, cost variances, and areas requiring corrective action. • Implement and manage risk, expenditure, change, and cost-control processes to support effective project governance. • Establish and report Earned Value (EV) and other key project performance indicators to measure progress and forecast project outcomes. • Work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate project reporting. • Ensure project delivery remains aligned with contractual obligations, financial targets, operational requirements, and approved project objectives. • Provide timely analysis and recommendations on project performance, trends, risks, and recovery measures. Job Requirements • At least 8 years of relevant experience in project controls, planning, or project management within the construction or engineering industry. • Strong experience in project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress measurement, and project reporting. • Proficient in project scheduling and planning software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. • Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM), cost forecasting, change management, and risk management will be advantageous. • Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, particularly PUB or other public-sector projects, would be an advantage.
